Eeeeek! I can’t believe January is almost over. I really had plans to get this article out earlier but, you know, life happened. We had a whole lot of sickness going on in our house this month. My little one (@fabfoodbaby) had an upper respiratory infection and I had strep. UGH! And, just when we started to feel better, we both got sick again. Please put us in a bubble….
Raisu opened in August 2017 in an unassuming location on Irving Park Road. Although they kept a low profile in the beginning, people are starting to notice the exceptional sushi they offer. Expect high quality fish that is beautifully presented.

Blufish, in Vernon Hills, is the third restaurant in the Blufish family. Owned and run by two brothers, Chuck and Matt Choi, this location was chosen based on the client base from their sister restaurants in Glenview and Park Ridge.
