Fab Recipe: Spicy Chile-Garlic Shrimp

Ingredients
  • 1 lb shrimp, shelled and deveined, and tails intact
  • 3 tablespoons of high quality olive oil (oliveworldtour.com)
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 red chili pepper, medium, sliced
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ lemon, squeezed
  • 1 tsp of chili pepper powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • red chili flakes to taste
Instructions
  1. Sprinkle salt and pepper over shrimp evenly. Set aside.
  2. Heat large skillet to medium heat and add olive oil, garlic, red chili pepper, and parsley. Stir occasionally for about 2 minutes.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and toss with mixture thoroughly.
  4. Pour in the lemon juice and stif.
  5. Add chili pepper powder and red chili flakes for a little spice.
  6. Top with fresh parsley for added color.
  7. Enjoy!
